After "retiring" from the Wine Spectator, James Suckling has begun his own website that mostly includes videos of Suckling himself, tasting, expounding and evaluating. Is this just the first sip of the Next Big Thing?

Mark: Hi Greg, thank you for joining Must Love Wine. If I can be of any help feel free to send me a message. Please tell your friends about Must Love Wine and invite them to join.
Wines Made
Primarily Reds, although we have made a few whites, the 2005 Chardonnay is pretty nice. Most of our red wines are either 100% or some blends. Cabernet, Cab Franc, Zinfandel, Syrah, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, just to name a few that we have made.
Bio
My partner James Demeter and I have been making wine together since 2001, with the dream of moving up to Paso Robles buying land and starting our winery. James has since moved his family up and we have been making wine up there since 2005 in Templeton. All our fruit since we began this life of alchemy has been from Paso Robles region.

You can find me on Twitter if you haven't already @gregbarnett

Our hope is to get our bond before the 2009 harvest so we can finally go pro.

If you are in the Los Angeles area (I know how large of an area that is) and know of events/tastings in L.A. that you plan on attending please let us know. I'm sure we are all going to bump into one another at some point in time so let's get started! Or, if you have a secret wine shop that is near and dear to your heart here in L.A., let us know about it.
Welcome to the Virtual Wine Tasting Club. Every month in our online wine tasting series we will taste a different wine and post our tasting notes. In advance, if possible, please post the wine you will be trying that fits the tasting. The tasting will last one month so you can taste and post your notes in that time frame. Please ask questions about the wine we're tasting, post recommendations for future wine tastings and make this online wine tasting group a wonderful, interactive, informative wine discussion.
