    Kimberley: Hi!
I am a Texas Tech fan so I know all about the Llano wines! =-) They have a really fun wine bar in the depot district now. Caprock is also there but I don't care for their wines. Thanks for the post! Great to chat w/you!! Catch you later!

WesRobin → Kimberley: Texas is a fun state for wines. One of my favorites is Llano. I grew up south of Dallas about 40 miles in Ennis. Although Texas will always be in my heart, my home will always be in Colorado in the mountains.

WesRobin Ashtabula County was and will always be one of my favorites in the USA. I love the Covered Bridge Festival in October. A fabulous time to look back. Thanks for replying on the Ohio Vino outlook. I miss Ohio at times, but don't ever see myself moving back....  moreAshtabula County was and will always be one of my favorites in the USA. WesRobin → Onlyjc: I lived in WOrthington, OH for a number of years and never realized there were wineries in the Buckeye State. Now reside in CO where I get to see the Rocky Mountains daily.

Onlyjc: Oh yeah, we've got quite a few...especially up in Ashtabula county, Madison oh, and Geneva on the lake...really nice area. And then some down south of the canton area... even have one just 10 minutes from my house, it's new, but growing.

    Hello Wes!
I try to "meet" everyone who joins mustlovewine to first let people know they can "talk" to this wine grower about a wide variety of topics especially in growing wine... I have enjoyed corresponding with many about their grapevines & wine. ...You have a friend in wine-country!

... (Of course, I secondarily hope that some will remember Fanucchi Vineyards Trousseau Gris & Old Vine Zinfandel when you want something excellent, rare, & genuinely hand grown with ultimate respect for the environment... and only available in select restaurants & direct to consumers on line.)

    :-)

In any case Happy New Year!

WesRobin → surgigirl: Napa is an excellent way to renew on the spa side and to try new wines as well. Try to get there one day. I'll be there in 3 weeks for work and can't wait. I'm there 2-3 times annually for work, but try to experience the valley while in the area.

Welcome to the Virtual Wine Tasting Club. Every month in our online wine tasting series we will taste a different wine and post our tasting notes. In advance, if possible, please post the wine you will be trying that fits the tasting. The tasting will last one month so you can taste and post your notes in that time frame. Please ask questions about the wine we're tasting, post recommendations for future wine tastings and make this online wine tasting group a wonderful, interactive, informative wine discussion.
