KristyI am into Cabernet's, mainly from Napa. I live in Houston, always interested in wine tasting events. Went to Napa last month, favorite new wine was Pina.

oregonwinelover: I looked up the winery you mentioned to me the other day for the Petite Sirah, Elyse Winery. I definitely want to give them a try. We haven't made a trip to CA wine country in quite awhile...the list keeps growing of the wineries I want to visit!

This is our very first Holiday party and we feel like celebrating. The new tasting room is shaping up, the patio is nearly complete, the salmon are running down at the creek, and our award winning wines are flat out gorgeous.
