So if you do make the mistake of letting it get too warm, remove the bottles from the styrofoam as soon as possible so the wine doesn't stay hot any longer than necessary. Some wineries, when shipping their wine to our wine competitions insert a few gel-type ice packs in the case ot keep it from getting too warm. Don't know if this would help in the trunk of a car, but might be worth trying if you absolutely have to put wine there.  less

In its sister-competition, Critics Challenge, we even had entries from Korea and Turkey as well as the expected countries of France, Spain, Italy, etc. The Sommelier Challenge was somehow picked up by a news service in Asia, so we may get even more wines from afar. We have already received entries from some great wineries, so I am very exciting about this wine competition. I've read that China and India are making good wines now, so I'd love to see them enter. We are now able to assist wineries who don't have their own importers to get their wines through customs. More on that at http://www.sommelierchallenge.com/rules_so.html. That should help those foreign wineries who are not currently available in the US.  less

This group is just for fun so please post a movie along with a perfect wine pairing and why you choose the two together.
If you are more creative add a food or appetizer to enhance the experience.
