Medals & Acclaim - are you intrested in seeing a winery's history or just the newest stuff if you are unfamilar with the winery?

Say you are unfamiliar with a boutique winery. They have a track record of over 10 years. On their web site you check out their acclaim button would you rather see just the medals & reviews of the most recent wine or the recent stuff with the history below it?

Denverwineguy All about the recent on the web in my opinion...old stuff was probabaly made from a winemaker who is no longer there....Give me recent.

VineMaster Good thought. I was thinking more a small boutique / family operation (the kind that doesn’t have an army of employees, so the owner has direct control). Also such an operation is first dependant on great fruit first, then the care of a good "wine maker".

FanucchiVyrds That is what I felt, so when we rebuilt the new Fanucchivineyards.com I insisted on including most of our reviews & awards. Actually I've had so many that I can't find all of them! but it is a sense of pride and consistency I thought was important.
