Recommendations for Vineyards to Visit

  Hi! My husband and I are visiting Napa and Sonoma over 4th of July for our one year anniversary, and would love some recommendations on must visit wineries. We've been to Napa before, but Sonoma is new territory for us. We love Pinots, Savignon Blanc, and Cabs.

  I'm not a connoisseur but I like the enviroment of V. Sattui Winery, Sterling and Robert Mondavi, they have a nice tour, Berenger has a very good restaurant. These are in Napa, in Sonoma I like St. Franciscans.
  If you have time try to come to Lodi area too, there are good wineries too. Is located in Hwy 99 between Stockton and Sacramento.

  Some Napa Valley wineries I enjoy include Rubicon Estates (formerly Niebaum-Coppola) for its rich history & interesting artifacts; also might include AO, and Cakebread Cellars (by appointment only) and if you like sparkling, Chandon. In Sonoma, Kunde has a great sav blanc (Magnolia Lane), and don't miss Chateau St. Jean's cab-blend Cinq Cépages.
