  My suggestions:
  1. Malbec (i.e. higher percentage of Malbec than any other grape varietal), from anywhere, any age but available now, under $50/bottle.
  2. Cabernet Franc( i.e. higher percentage of Cab Franc than any other grape varietal), from anywhere, any age but available now, under $50/bottle.
  3. Loire Valley 2005: Red or white but of the vintage.
  4. German non-Riesling whites.

  So, there's no Malbec group with helpful cheat sheets. Anyone want to save me from a tedious google search and give me a clue what I'm looking for from the perfect (or, in my case, price- appropriate) Malbec?
