  Regularly. They recently won an award - I want to say for the wine list from Wine Spectator but don't quote me on it. They regularly do tastings and the pizza is fantastic!

  Sounds like a great excuse for an invitation to gather. Any idea what time/day of week might be best to suggest that location?

  Zambrano is sounding like a good place! I ate at the Vault last night in the Tower building. Really good food and nice wine list, but they have a wine and martini bar downstairs called V Lounge. Didn't get a chance to check it out, and not sure what their by the glass menu is like, but it might be another good one to check out.

  The lounge down there is beautiful, but sitting at the bar is problematic. Someone didn't measure height of bar vs. height of bar stools and the seats are way too low so the bar top hits me just below my shoulder. And I'm not a short woman! I significantly prefer Zambrano's.
  
  Another FW option is PappaRotti's on Camp Bowie. It's been around for a couple of years but came into new ownership a few months back. The family that runs it is super nice and it's a really neat, funky space.

  It's a little to the north, but Farpointe Cellar in Southlake has a nice little wine bar. I was in there yesterday to see if they had anything good on the tasting menu that I could get for Christmas gifts.
