  Catena Zapata makes very good wines. Some are pricey but worth the price.

  Gotta follow the great wine makers for the great wine. Ernesto Catena is workin it hard, fer sure, but don't forget Susana Balbo for a stellar portfolio. Unus by Mendel is classic in structure. Luca Catena has made Beso de Dante, an incredible blend. Ben Marco's Expresivo is a must as it has tamed some Tannat for the blend. Tikal has crafted Jubilo, a cab/malbec/merlot and the monstous Patriota a syrah/bonarda that is not to be believed. And the prices are in order, that is to say they are great values. Cheers!

  My favourite Argentinian wine so far is an unoaked Chardonnay from Luigi Bosca, called La Linda!!
  It has a delicate herbal aroma with hints of peach and apricot! Full bodied and refreshing!! It's very affordable at $12.99 Cdn.It's definately worth a try!!!

  Trapiche Single Vineyard - a 3 bottles Malbec collection of their best 3 producers from each year, you can see my tasting notes on my blog. Luigi Bosca has indeed some interesting wines and Vistalba makes the impressive Corte A and B.

  Hey Mark, in less than a month I will be going to Argentina to do my internship class, and I will be doing it at Catena Zapata. Its definitely exciting!
