I was not sure if I should post this one to "Great Values" as well. The Earthquake Zinfandel is a wonderful wine at less then $30. It was brought to a blind tasting of High end Zin's as the "spoiler". It came in 2nd behind Turley and 5 others at $50+. I'lll look for my notes and share them.....

The earthquake is a nice Michael and David Phillips wine. For 17 dollars they have the 7 deadly Zins, and for around 11 bucks, Windmill Estates. All done in their same fruit bomb new world style. And at a couple different price points.

A few other Lodi fruit bombs you might try are Klinker Brick and Macchia wines (they make about 8 zins from Lodi and Amador). They just ran a special buy a 2006 case and get a 2005 for a buck. It brought the bottle price down to $12. Great deal!

Earthquake Zin is our everyday go-to wine. It is so yummy and such a bargain! I'm glad others have "discovered' this gem too!
