About Me:
I was born & raised in Northern California and am very fortunate to have 3 phenominal wine regions around me - Napa is 1 hr & 20 minutes away, Lodi is 10 minutes away and Amador is 30 minutes away. I have a part-time job as a Wine Advisor hand selling wines. I mainly promote Napa Valley wines, although I have promoted a few from Bordeaux. The picture of me is at Sterling in Napa, which is one of the wineries I promote for Diageo. I also promote Beaulieu (BV), Acacia, Edna Valley, Chalone, Hewitt, Dynamite, Moon Mountain and Provenance.

My full time gig is in management for a large company but I'd rather spend 100% of my time visiting wineries, talking about wine and drinking it, of course! I also enjoy gourmet cooking from scratch with only fresh ingredients. I'm a health nut so I am constantly searching for new recipes to support my healthy lifestyle.

I love taking trips to wine country and am often the person who plans & organizes trips among my friends & co-workers. I live with my boyfriend and two rescue dogs - a retired racing greyhound and a black lab.

Favorite Wines:
California Reds - including Napa Cabs, Napa Red Blends, Lodi Old Vine Zinfandels; Amador Barberas; 2005 Bordeaux, Rhone (Chateauneuf-du-Pape), Spanish Wines, Italian (Brunellos), Dessert Wines (Ice Wine, Sauternes, Tokaji) and anything "old vine" or from the Spring Mountain appellation in Napa.

My favorite CA wineries are Anderson's Conn Valley, Buccella, O'Shaughnessy, Joseph Phelps, Shafer, Cakebread, Nickel & Nickel, Far Niente, Dolce, Pride Mountain Vineyards, Sine Que Non, Del Dotto, Darioush, Provenance, Paloma, Seghesio, Michael & David, and Klinker Brick.

My favorite international wineries are Gaja, Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe and Chateau d'Yquem.

My favorite table wine is Las Rocas Garnacha from Spain. At $8/bottle it's to die for! I get it at Costco & a local wine shop - it's a bit more expensive online.

"The 2005 Las Rocas Vinyas Viejas comes from high altitude, low yielding, 100+-year-old Grenache vines and is aged in French and American oak. More aromatic than its sibling, it has a splendid perfume of spice box, lavender, kirsch, and blueberry. It is also a bit richer and longer in the finish. While it may evolve for 1-2 years, who could resist it now?"
