Category: Wine Review
Color - Translucent light red.
Purchased - Whole Foods in Reno, NV - $25.99
Nose - Plum, raspberry and pepper on the nose.
Taste - Nice fruit in the mouth. Cherry, plum, some spice, dusty tannins, nice acidity. Fairly short finish.
Notes - This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is Argyle Winery's entry level Pinot Noir. At first, I was let down as the wine is so light in color, almost watery, but, as they say, looks can be deceiving as this is a very good wine. Well worth trying.
