Color - Dark reddish purple.

Nose - Good dose of blackberries, plum, some pepper and a scent almost like bottled ink (for those of us old enough to have had a refillable fountain pen).
Taste - Good fruit in the mouth with matched acidity. Well balanced. Almost a creamy mouthfeel. Moderate length finish.
Notes - 16% alcohol but does not taste strong at all. Tasted a bit lighter than your typical full bore zin you see out there theses days. More refined I'd say. Good wine, easy to drink.
