The Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon from 337 Wine Cellars in Mateca, California pours out a deep reddish-purple in color with just a little light getting through. On the nose aromas of black currant, black cherry, coffee and hints of earthy, vanilla sweetness. In the mouth this is quite soft and mellow with subdued tannins. Just enough acidity. Slightly jammy flavors of currant, cherry, blackberry, black licorice with a touch of pepper. This is a good red wine for a casual dinner or to sip while eating a chocolaty dessert and watching TV. Pretty good QPR at $13.49 per 750ml bottle. If you can find it under $10.00 I'd say you found a very drinkable bargain you can enjoy.
