What a nice wine this Chateauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards from Perrin & Fils is. I decanted this for a good three hours before drinking. Pours out a deep ruby red with nice clarity. Lovely nose of red fruit, tobacco leaf, pepper, kirsch and earth. In the mouth this is divine. For being so young it is silky smooth. Flavors of cranberry, cherry and raspberry with a good dose of spice and nice acidity. Medium bodied. A well rounded, well structured wine. Lovely finish that seemed to go on forever. $34.99 for a 750ml bottle.
