About Me:
I work in the wine business, and I'm also an avid wine hobbiest. I am a freelance writer, and have been working on developing my wine reviews and articles of late. I have some poetry published, too! I read several books at once, and always have poetry bedside.

I train for half marathons, hike as often as possible, fly fish, and explore the wilderness at any chance I get. I am love camping and can't wait to get out under the stars any chance I get!

I love food, and cooking for friends and family. And of course, wine pairing! I would like to learn to make wine sustainably, from the ground to the bottle. Science always intrigues me, and holds a place in my heart, especially the field work involved in geology, hydrology and ecology.

I studied environmental science in college, and so now like staying active in organizations that are working for positive change, both in the subjects of the environment and human rights.

In any spare time I can find, or with any activity I am doing, I enjoy listening to and obsessing over music!

I'm also a certified Sommelier.

Favorite Wines:
I like and believe in wines from every area, depending on how the grapes are grown and the wines made, but some favorite REGIONS are: Loire Valley, Languedoc, CHAMPAGNE, Piemonte, Alsace, Willamette Valley, Burgundy, Carneros, SLD, Walla Walla. Anything from the Louis/Dressner portfolio rocks my world!
